What are cookies?
This cookie policy explains what cookies are and how Den Eenink uses them, which types of cookies we use, what information we collect with them and how that information is used, and how you can manage your cookie settings.
Cookies are small text files that store pieces of information. They are kept on your device when the website loads in your browser. They help us make the website work properly and understand how it is used and where it can be improved.
How do we use cookies?
What we store in your browser ourselves is needed for the website to work and contains no data that identifies you.
We only use third-party cookies to understand how visitors use the website. They are only placed after you click "Accept all" in the cookie banner. If you choose "Essential only", we do not load Google Tag Manager.
The videos in the gallery play through Vimeo with the "do not track" setting: Vimeo does not place tracking cookies. A video only loads when you start it.
Essential
Essential cookies and similar technologies enable basic functions. No consent is required for them.
| Name | Description | Duration |
|---|---|---|
de-cookie-consent | Remembers your cookie choice (localStorage). | Until you clear or change it |
deneenink-popup-gezien | Remembers that you have already seen the notice about booking direct, so that it does not appear again (sessionStorage). | Until you close your browser |
Statistics
Statistics cookies collect anonymous information about how visitors use the website. They are only placed with your consent.
Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics
With your consent, we load Google Tag Manager, which starts Google Analytics for anonymous statistics (number of visitors, popular pages). Exactly which cookies are placed depends on the tags in the GTM container; these are the usual Google Analytics cookies:
| Name | Description | Duration |
|---|---|---|
_ga | Distinguishes visitors. | 2 years |
_ga_* | Distinguishes visitors (GA4 property). | 2 years |
_gid | Distinguishes visitors for 24 hours. | 24 hours |
_gat | Limits the number of requests to Google Analytics. | 1 minute |
